Many of those we serve may have experienced a crisis that has brought them to a place of financial insecurity, such as the loss of a job or the death of a spouse. Others live in chronic or generational poverty, having never been taught another way of life - away to find that bridge they need to break the cycle. That is why we employ a holistic approach, to empower people to recognize their worth and their potential and live the full lives for which they were created, as shown in our motto:

We are most well-known for our help, providing food and clothing for those in need.​ We want to do more by offering an opportunity for healing…  restoring lives by helping people develop new skills and utilize resources to build their own bridge from their present circumstances toward a better lifestyle. In all we do we seek to build personal relationships. We want our neighbors to know that they are loved and that they can find the hope that everyone needs to live a full and purposeful life.
